Kellie Saylor

Kellie is an elementary school teacher who is native to California, loves riding horses, cycling, and being outdoors.  She received her B.A. in Psychology from CSUCI in 2005, and completed her multiple subjects teaching credential the following year.  Kellie currently teaches full time in the Pleasant Valley School District.

Jumping and riding dressage on her horse has provided her with an understanding of the importance of core strength, along with body awareness.  After discovering Pilates, she noticed an improved connection with her body that translated into her riding, and also helped alleviate lower back tension and pain. She loved the flow of the movements and how connected she felt after each class, and was hooked.  Wanting to share her love of Pilates, Kellie completed her Mat Teacher Training certification through Body arts and Sciences International (BASI) in 2010.  Kellie resides in Ventura with her husband and their two dogs.

“I love how connected and accomplished I feel after Pilates.  It is so empowering, yet relaxing at the same time.  It helps relieve stress after a long day at work, and overall just leaves you feeling good.  It is a great privilege to share that with people.”
